It is snowing. It is only sticking to the grass and a little on the sidewalks but not on the roads. Some areas in our city have slick streets, since the snow is melting and refreezing.

We do not have school tomorrow. It's parent - teacher conference day. We will be out of the classroom on Friday, due to a field trip, so there probably won't be a report again until next Monday.

  Although the temperature is warmer than usual for January, it looks like January again. It is very dreary and feels damp outside. We are learning about the moon's phases and are looking for a full moon this Sunday night.

  Another warm day for us. This is unseasonably warm and the school's furnace doesn't understand! Our building is very warm so we had Science outside today! Many kids are wearing shorts!

  Today is the best weather we've had in weeks! We were able to have recess outside, but it is still very wet, muddy and soggy in the grassy areas.

  In today's newspaper we read that on 1-25-1821: "The Hudson River froze solid during the coldest winter in 41 years. Thousands of people walked from New York City to New Jersey. Taverns were set up in the middle of the river for pedestrians." ~ COOL!
