Bright Futures information

Many of our clients have asked about Bright Futures Scholarships. So, we have gleaned some key information and posted it here, along with links to several important Bright Futures web pages.

Perhaps the most important information concerns the eligibility requirements for the Bright Futures awards. There are several award levels (and associated academic criteria). These criteria are slightly higher for students who were home schooled.

According to the Florida Student Financial Aid website, students should plan to take SAT or ACT tests prior to January 31, 2009 for spring eligibility and prior to June 30, 2009 for summer availability.
