Algebra and Geometry Homeschool Classes

SAT Prep Class To Start in January 2009

MATHWORKS, a math tutoring company located in North Naples, is pleased to announce that it will be offering a suite of weekly, one-hour, high school-level math courses for homeschool students during the 2008-2009 school year. The courses in Algebra I and Geometry will be run under the auspices of the Home Education Enrichment Day (HEED) Program; an Algebra II class will be offered (if there is sufficient enrollment) on Wednesday mornings at the Mathworks Tutoring Center on Immokalee Road across from Gulf Coast High School.

In addition, MATHWORKS will be offering a home school SAT prep class starting in January 2009.

Applications are being accepted now. Class size is capped at 15 students and students will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. If any class size exceeds the limit, we may offer another section of the class at or about the same time on Monday.

Class Offerings 2008-2009 Schedule

Courses will be taught by H. Michael Mogil (degreed scientist, seasoned math tutor and previous 5th grade science-math teacher). In addition to teaching required math concepts, emphasis will be placed on real-life applications.

Cost for HEED classes is posted at the HEED web site; cost for the Algebra II class is $395 inclusive which includes student textbook.
