Menu / Cost of Tutoring Services

MATHWORKS offers several types of tutoring services - individual, small group and AP/SAT/ACT/ASVAB preparation at its Math Tutoring Center. We can also visit your school and provide individual and small group tutoring instruction. We also offer in-home tutoring on a limited basis.

Fees for our tutoring services at our Math Tutoring Center are as follows:

Small group tutoring (maximum 6:1 ratio)	$40 per hour*	Linked to Collier County School schedule - sessions held after school on Mondays - Thursdays; possible availability on weekends.
FCAT preparation for grades 3, 4 or 5 (maximum enrollment of 6 students)	$315	Linked to March 2008 FCAT testing schedule. Series of three, 1 3/4 hour, grade-level focused sessions on either Saturday or Sunday afternoons from late February to mid-March. Includes grade-level appropriate FCAT workbook.
SAT / ACT Preparation	$450 for a 13-hour program and prep book**	Four, three-hour large group sessions and one, one-hour small group session focusing solely on math preparation (and Science - ACT) held on weekend mornings and/or afternoons (contact us to determine which time period{s}). Includes SAT or ACT preparation book. Offered separately from SAT / ACT language arts preparation (provided by Liberty Tutoring).

* To ensure that students have an opportunity to gain from their tutoring work and that you have a guaranteed tutoring time, we require a minimum contract that spans one Collier County grading quarter (about 9 weeks or the duration of the college level course) and that tutoring fees are paid one month in advance. These general periods are shown on our MATHWORKS calendar of offerings. There is also a $60 fee to cover the cost of a grade-level appropriate math resource book and workbook (non-college students), if needed. Payment for the book fee and one months tutoring is expected at registration. Tutoring fees for the following month are due by the 25th of the current month or the date specified in the tutoring contract.

**Registration fees for SAT / ACT preparation are due in full (and become non-refundable) at least two weeks before the first class session.

We cannot refund for missed sessions as the payment guarantees your child a place in our programs. However, within reasonable bounds (and based on an early notification of missing a session), we will try to accommodate your child in another session or at another time to make up for the missed learning opportunity.

We accept only cash, check and credit card payments. Credit card payments incur a 3% convenience fee.
